Training Programs

You may set up an appointment to meet with us at no charge. We would like to meet both you and your dog so we can determine the best program for you. It is important for you to feel comfortable with us and our training methods before you commit to a training program.  The time is approx. 30 minutes for consultation.

Puppy Training and Socialization $225   (8-16 Weeks) Includes: Leash, collar, 3 private lessons and puppy play groups until they are  6 months old. Do not wait to train your puppy! We will teach how to crate train, housebreak, not to pull on leash, come when called, not chew forbidden items, not to jump and other behavior skills. The most important time in a puppies life is before 4 months. Teach them what you want them to do instead of correcting them for unwanted behavior later on! This program does not teach basic obedience commands. We recommend this program for a 8-16 week old puppy where owner just wants some control.

Basic Obedience $425  (6 Months and Older)
Includes:  Leash, collar, 4 private lesson and 6 months of group practice. You will start off with 2 private lessons to teach you how to walk your dog with out pulling, heel on your left side, sit until released and stay even if you walk away. We will cover any behavior problems such as house breaking, jumping, coming when called and more during these 2 lessons, But you will need distractions and practice before both you and your dog understand the taught exercises. You will then be able to attend our Level 1 (Sit) group class for a few weeks or until you are ready for additional training, When ready to move on you will receive a private lesson on  how to down and stay your dog. You and your dog will now be able to attend Level 2 (Down) practice group until your program ends 6 months from start date. We will then schedule for another private lesson to review all training before you graduate from basic training.
You may request additional lessons at $50 per lesson.

Puppy and Basic Program $550  (8 Weeks -5 Months) Includes:  Leash, collar, 6 private lessons and 12 months of group practice. We combine all of the training from the puppy and basic programs. We highly recommend this program for any one with a puppy that wants more than puppy training. Home Obedience $225  (Any age) Includes: leash and collar, 3 private lessons, no groups. This program is for the dog or owner that does not want group practice. You may not be interested in teaching all the formal commands taught in our Basic program. Some clients just want their dog to stop pulling them, not jump on people or come when called.  We will provide you with 3 private lessons to address any of your training concerns. You may request additional lessons at $50 per lesson.

Behavior Modification $75
This program offers one lesson to address any behavior problems or training issues.

In Board Training $950 (5 Months and older)
Includes: 3 weeks of boarding and training, leash and collar, 3 private lessons, bath, ears, nails, and 6 months of group practice. (Dogs that require extensive grooming: Clips, dematting, trims will be charged additional) Dogs that are not able to attend our group practice due to temperament will have other distraction training provisions.
This program is for the busy person! Let us train your dog for you! We will teach your dog every thing in our basic program in just 3 weeks!

Day Training $20 ( Any dog that has signed up for our training programs) You may drop your dog off for just the day for training! We will work with your dog on any obedience exercises during the day care stay. You pay the cost of day care and $20 additional for training. We recommend this for every one that has signed up for our obedience programs. Treat your dog for a groom, day of training and day care while you relax or attend to other tasks! Graduate Classes $10 We offer a group class for our clients who have completed our Basic Program. We teach off leash skills to further your training skills Advanced Training $300 Includes 3 private lessons to teach off leash exercises  and 1 year of graduate groups. This is great for the team that wants to compete in the AKC competitions or just to learn advanced skills! This price is only for our clients that attended our basic program and graduated.

Tracking
We offer tracking courses during the year at a group discount rate or one on one if you prefer.

Agility and Rally Obedience $10
These classes are for our training clients only. On leash level is for our clients that are in our Basic Program, Off leash level is for our Graduates. Weather permitting classes are held in our outdoor arena located in Hunlock Creek Pa. During the winter classes will be indoors at our Wilkes-Barre facility.

Private Lessons ($50-$100) We will train everyone in a private lesson. You will learn easier and so will your dog. This also enables us to get to know you and your dog better and understand your training needs. Group Practice (No charge included in your program) This setting allows clients that had private lessons to now practice with distractions. This is really where most of your training begins! It is easy to teach your dog to stay in a sit with no one around. The challenge is keeping the dog in a sit or down with other people and dogs around. It is also easier to work with your dog with people who understand your struggle as they are struggling too! We do not allow aggressive dogs in any of our groups! We make other provisions for them. Graduates may pay $10 to continue working in practice groups.

Group Classes $10
This setting is an instruction course with other clients that are not struggling with the basic training. Graduate Class, Agility, Rally, Canine Good Citizen, Therapy Dog and other classes are offered exclusively for our training clients.

These programs are for the truly dedicated dog handler as they require a lot of commitment and time.
You may set up a evaluation to determine the direction and cost needed for training. There is a $20 fee for the evaluation for these programs as they are extensive.

* The quoted prices may vary with the temperament of dog, as some dogs may have special needs that need to be considered. Additional equipment needed for training will vary the cost of your training program.
